Hi, I’m Lottie, author of Lumi & the Wolf.
It’s finally time to reveal my big secret! My debut middle-grade novel will be published by Hachette Children’s Group this September. Set in the frozen wilderness of Lapland, Lumi and the Wolf is an epic adventure story about an autistic girl who decides to save her friend, a wild white wolf, from hunters. And when they set out on a journey of 100km, they both find their place in the world. It will be released as a beautiful hardback with illustrations by the award-winning Jason Cockroft.

Lovely to meet you!
Hi, my name is Lottie (born Lotta-Sofia) Saahko, I’m the author of eleven books in Finnish, and my English debut is coming this autumn! That means I write books in two languages – and I speak five. That’s because I was born in Finland but raised in various countries around the world. Now I live in London.
Additionally to writing and reading, I take aerial hoop classes, and when I’m in Finland, I enjoy ice swimming, cross-country skiing and spending time with my grandfather. He is 90 years old!
