What books I enjoy reading
I read a lot of books, about 150 books every year. My reading taste is very varied, I read a fun mix of magical middle grade novels, domestic / psychological thrillers, as well as some literary fiction, romance and magic (witches, time-travel) sprinkled in!
I especially love books that feature my favourite topics:
- multiculturalism (moving abroad / multicultural families)
- autism / neurodivergence (I love an autistic main character!)
- mental health / mental illness (e.g. bipolar, schizophrenia)
- sisters / sibling relationships
- authors and writing
- dark academia (boarding school or university settings)
- ballet and theatre
- old people (and dementia – I’m my grandpa’s carer!)

These are currently some of my favourite authors:
Thrillers: Lisa Jewell, Riley Sager, John Marrs, Ruth Ware
Middle Grade: Elle McNicoll, Holly Smale, Kelly Yang, Katherine Rundell
Women’s Fiction: Abby Jimenez, Jesse Q. Sutanto, Rebecca Serle, Sophie Kinsella
Fantasy: Rebecca Ross, Cornelia Funke, A.F. Steadman

how to
work with me
I love reading and reviewing books and sharing them with my social media followers. I also love featuring small bookish businesses, such as independent bookstores all around the UK!
If you’d like me to review your book, please message me and ask me for my address. For unpaid collabs I can’t promise a post, but I usually show most new books in book hauls and pictures of book stacks.
Dedicated post about your book: if you have ideas for a fun photo or video I could do for your book, please get in touch to discuss!
I love filming unboxings, especially when a publisher has put time and effort into making a PR box. I also film all bookish events I go to, so I’m looking forward to your invite! 😉
